re: VortexRPM - DH

BASIC CHARACTER INFORMATION/HISTORY:

1. a. BattleTag: VortexRPM#1398

    b. Character Name: VortexDH

2. Class: DH

3. Current Server: Arthas

4. Primary Raiding Spec (if you have a raid-viable off-spec, let us know): Havoc ; not off-spec but I have a mythic geared druid as well.

5. Give us a link to your armory while logged out in PvE equipment: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/arthas/Vortexdh

6. What is your raiding experience? In legion I raided for 9/10M NH, 7/9M ToS with 2% wipes on KJ, 2/11 Antorus (took a break during this to take care of family out of state), 8/8M Uldir, 9/9M BoD, 1/2M CoS, Currently 7/8M EP. I have been raiding pretty consistently in 2 guilds since Nighthold, seeking to narrow it down to 1.

7. What guilds were you previously in? Under what circumstances did you leave?

Late Night (Previously The Heartless Council): (For BoD on DH) Left because the late night schedule conflicted with going through necessary certification training during the week for a period of over 2 months. Tried to make it work for a week or two but the strain was too much to risk certification.

Currently in Pollo De La Muerte on Madoran since Nighthold (when i started the game). I would be leaving this guild and my other current guild (FASTz Arthas) in an attempt to narrow it down to 1 serious guild. Two guilds is just a lot of split effort and progression raiding with Pollo lasts until the end of the tier so it leaves little time to take a breather between tiers. FASTz (since Late Night) has just had leadership changes and grown more toxic and meme focused rather than progression focused. This has caused 3 raiders to leave in the past couple weeks and more are considering leaving due to the environment.  Ideally I would stay until the end of the tier but I find it hard even out of commitment to give them that at the expense of finding a home in a guild that doesn't almost make it a goal to drive people out.

INFINITY REQUIREMENTS CHECK:

Our standard raid schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 8PM ET to 11PM ET.  If you are unable to maintain 90% raid attendance please inform us. Excessive absences and/or being late will result in loss of spot and/or removal from guild. Discord, a Microphone, and a Boss Mod are required in Infinity raids.

Raid time is the same as Pollo. Days don't interfere with anything. I have only missed 1 or 2 days since Uldir and even killed G'huun from a laptop in a hotel for them. Addons/applications I already have.

PLAYER PERFORMANCE:

8. Link your detailed rankings from Warcraftlogs. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/arthas/Vortexdh?mode=detailed&zone=23#difficulty=5

9. Provide a screenshot of your UI in a raid environment. https://imgur.com/a/YrNFdn8

10. Describe a "recent" raid boss that demonstrates how you exceed the requirements of your current role (DPS/Healing/Tanking). This may involve using a special spec, a non-standard rotation, or non-standard gear/glyphs.
On Blockades I ran netherwalk and was dedicated to running the storm elemental debuff and being the mobile dps hard swapping to sirens.

PERSONAL RESPONSES:

11. Age: 24

12. Gender: Male

13. How did you hear about Infinity? Friend recommendation for a good environment/competitive guild.

14. Why do you wish to join Infinity and what convinces you that you would be a good addition to Infinity? What sets you apart?
I'm seeking a serious progression guild to put the effort I've been splitting up in 2 guilds and focusing on a singular guild. I've watched a lot of your vods especially on the later progression fights and enjoy your atmosphere. I think I would make a good addition because I am extremely dedicated when it comes down to preparation whether it be benthic gear on multiple toons, keeping up with the neck/gear, or researching a fight for timers/talents etc. I also think I'm aware enough to know when there are too many cooks in the kitchen on progression.

15. This is an old guild with a family/friend-like atmosphere. It is important that we get to know you, so tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Christopher, I'm pretty big into fantasy/sci-fi books. My all time favorite would be The Wheel of Time which i'm extremely excited to see going into production this fall, (matrim probably was the best casting choice). The RPM in my name is actually for the 3 main characters. Outside of books I obviously enjoy most of my time gaming in one way or another whether it be wow, apex, or nuzlocke challenges on pokemon. I finished up some certifications for networking and volunteer with local animal shelters in some of my free time.

Unfortunately we have decided to decline your application. As Demon Hunter is such a crucial part of a raid, we are searching for one that we believe is a stronger candidate. Thank you for your interest in Infinity and best of luck in your guild search.
