re: App: Izo - Brewmaster Monk

1. a. BattleTag: Izo#11295

    b. Character Name: Izo

2. Class: Monk

3. Current Server: Area 52

4. Primary Raiding Spec (if you have a raid-viable off-spec, let us know):

Brewmaster (Geared dps spec as well however WW isn't a viable raid spec this tier lol)

5. Give us a link to your armory while logged out in PvE equipment:

6. What is your raiding experience?

I have raided every tier since Wrath Naxx (was more casual/pvpd in vanilla/bc) with the exception of hellfire citadel. I mained a DPS shaman with tank alts from vanilla until WoD when I switched to main Prot Warrior until Tomb of Sargeras where I switched to Brewmaster and have mained that since. I have always strived for the hardest level of content and every AOTC/CE every tier and got most of them while maintaining a semi-hardcore status in long term guilds. The only break from raiding i've taken since 2008 was HFC during WoD. I have every CE from emerald nightmare to BoD except KJ (co-tank/raid leader at the time lost internet for two months) and looking to continue achieving every future CE.

7. What guilds were you previously in? Under what circumstances did you leave?

I have been in area 52 for almost four years now and unfortunately our officer core including raid leader quit the game due to overlapping IRL commitments. I am not the guild-hopping type and usually mesh well with others. Notably during ICC I raided with Top 10 us alliance 10 man until their end when cataclysm started.

Our standard raid schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 8PM ET to 11PM ET.  If you are unable to maintain 90% raid attendance please inform us. Excessive absences and/or being late will result in loss of spot and/or removal from guild. Discord, a Microphone, and a Boss Mod are required in Infinity raids.

Raid times are fine for me I maintain 100% attendance as a tank this is very important - Have mic/discord/Bigwigs

8. Link your detailed rankings from Warcraftlogs.

9. Provide a screenshot of your UI in a raid environment.

10. Describe a "recent" raid boss that demonstrates how you exceed the requirements of your current role (DPS/Healing/Tanking). This may involve using a special spec, a non-standard rotation, or non-standard gear/glyphs.

I'll start by saying I am able to play any tank spec at a relatively high level and do enjoy doing the odd role/third tank special jobs for bosses that require it - currently only monk/warrior/druid are geared but I played all 6 tanks throughout legion. "recently" a few examples of what you may be looking for here; during the first week of ToS I knew that my warrior was struggling more than my at the time very undergeared monk would have been for mythic and decided to make the main swap to better progress through. During our small ammount of prog on KJ mythic I swapped to my guardian druid to be a soak/roar bitch. During Varimathras prog i switched to Prot Warrior as the third tank to run out the debuff every time. For Aggramar prog (and almost every subsequent kill) I switched to my death knight to be grippy bitch for the elementals. BFA hasn't offered many opportunities for this because of how strong brewmasters have been the whole expac. For mekkatorque my co-tank (paladin) switched to DK for the grips because he mained DK during Uldir and Brewmaster's mastery dodging stacks make them incredibly strong on that fight

13. How did you hear about Infinity? Wowprogress/Warcraftlogs/Reputation

14. Why do you wish to join Infinity and what convinces you that you would be a good addition to Infinity? What sets you apart?

I have been raiding at the same level for the most part since joining and although we do achieve CE "every" tier, based on my performance I know I could be raiding at a MUCH higher level, I love the people I raided with and am very loyal so I've been content with our progress as a guild. the guild dying is a good opportunity for me to branch out and reach the level of raiding I know I am capable of and have achieved in the past. I have a high understanding of the classes I play and work well in a team environment. I believe clear communication and personal raid awareness are keys to a successful raid and believe I can contribute those. Currently I have 8 120's 2 other geared tanks warrior/druid both 427+

15. This is an old guild with a family/friend-like atmosphere. It is important that we get to know you, so tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a 25 year old semi-retired Chef who's played video games basically my whole life. I started playing WoW in december 2004 and have been addicted since. I believe i'm very easy to get along with and actively participate in guild groups outside of raid - m+ / pvp that sort of thing. As I said earlier I am not the guild-hopping type and really am looking for a place to settle in while performing at a very high level. I know it has been a very long time since raiding at the level that Infinity is at now and lets be real the game was a lot easier in WOTLK it's hardly a comparison but I know I am able to play at a much higher level than I have been the last few tiers due to guild loyalty and friendships.
